This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Job Skills / Requirements*Temporary, part-time weekend positions with occasional overtime during outages and holidays.Opportunity for conversion to a permanent position in the future.Unarmed Security Officer- Day Shift & Night Shift AvailableSat-Sun (7AM-7PM) & Sat-Sun (7PM-7AM)$14.00-$15.00/Hr.Minimum Qualifications• Must have or obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority• Must be at least 18 years oldDuties & ResponsibilitiesPatrol & Surveillance • Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concernsMonitor access points; verify IDs and credentialsMonitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activityIncident Response & Reporting • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocolMaintain accurate logs of activities and incidentsPerform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)Customer Service & Policy Enforcement • Assist visitors and employees professionallyEnforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocolsEnsure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)Required Skills & AbilitiesMinimum • Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsWeekend availabilityStrong situational awareness and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm and effective in critical situationsBasic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reportingPreferred • Familiarity with Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stoppingEducation & ExperienceMinimum • High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred • 1+ Year of Verifiable Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience2+ years of verifiable customer service experienceNote: Duties, qualifications, skills, and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
