We are looking for an IT Manager to support a Financial Services organization in New York, New York through a Contract engagement. This position will oversee core end-user technology operations, coordinate external service providers, and strengthen access, device, and productivity systems across the environment. The role is well suited for someone who can balance day-to-day IT administration with process improvement, security-minded oversight, and planning for continued office growth.Responsibilities:• Direct the work of third-party managed service providers to ensure reliable delivery of IT support and infrastructure services.• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment, assigning system access, and removing permissions in a timely manner.• Administer Windows-based desktops and laptops, maintaining performance, configuration standards, and user readiness.• Support a workplace where employees operate across multiple devices and endpoints, ensuring consistent access and functionality.• Manage Microsoft 365 applications and related collaboration tools, including account administration and user support.• Evaluate and organize administrative privileges, user roles, and security settings to improve control across systems.• Contribute to governance of AI-enabled tools by managing access permissions and helping define appropriate usage controls.• Lead efforts to move legacy or remotely managed environments toward cloud-based identity and access management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID.• Create and refine IT policies, documentation, and operational procedures while recommending technology improvements to support expansion.
