Make a meaningful impact as an ESL Teacher in the vibrant Napoleonville, LA area, supporting students who are building their English language skills. This rewarding contract position runs from ASAP through May 25, 2027, and offers a steady, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

As an ESL Teacher, you’ll craft engaging lesson plans aimed at developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking competencies for non-native English speakers. Your cultural awareness, patience, and innovative approach will help nurture an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and supported.

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Teaching License/Certification, including applicable ESL endorsements
• Experience in K-12 general education and/or previous work as an ESL Teacher preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering a respectful and supportive learning environment
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement targeted lesson plans that promote English language acquisition in reading, writing, listening, and speaking
