We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Director with deep industry knowledge to support our Asset Management businessDepth & Scope:Responsible for new revenue origination and ownership of transaction execution across product areas, with a focus on M&A idea generation and execution (The full TD product suite includes Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, etc.)Demonstrates expert-level market and industry expertise within the Asset Management sector. Acts as a specialist for the businessDevelopment and oversight of high-impact client deliverables and detailed financial analyses with sophisticated understanding of underlying sector dynamicsAccountable for providing highly skilled support to senior coverage team members during execution of transactions, including deal structuringCultivates and maintains client relationships at all levels (CEO, CFO, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, etc.)Fosters collaboration and innovation across all levels of the team, as well with internal stakeholders and product partnersMaintains confidentiality of client informationKeeps senior coverage and product officers informed as deals progress/issues ariseEstablishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the BankFosters collaboration across all levels of the team, as well with clients and internal stakeholders and product partnersActively participates in the development and mentorship of junior team membersEducation & Experience: Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics preferredTransaction experience leading financial advisory services, including M&A, Equity, and Debt financings for Asset Management companiesDemonstrated experience managing deal teams including training and developing team members on topics such as industry trends, financial modeling, and transaction processes7-10 Years of related experience within the Financial Institutions sector; [at least 4 years of experience working with Asset Management companies required]Series 7, 79 and 63 registrationsCandidates will be based in the New York officeWho We Are TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
